Why is there air vents in the plastic housing That allows a majority of the interior air to be sucked outside? I mean the whole reason I Purchased was to be more efficient!?

I have been waiting two years for this one dollar piece of plastic. This is why GE will be gone as a company. Why sell me a product and leave the extra hose that is absolutely necessary. After solving a puzzle and discovering that I need to pay 80$ for a plastic hose, u tell me that it's not in stock because GE can't secure this high tech 2$ plastic hose. Well, two years into this, I have successfully ordered and I have waited already two weeks. My order has no status because GE can't make a functional website. I have a status number but I just have to wait and pray someone in GE will go to the backroom and send me my hose. Until that time, I will continue to use a fan.

Happened to check back in on this dual hose kit at random and noticed it was back in stock. Ordered it and delivered just three days afterwards. Night and day difference compared to the single hose setup. Cools the bedroom fast and doesn’t have to run for nearly as long. Not incentivized. Just a regular joe that happened to snag one.

Before I had this conversion kit my ac worked fine but now it works a lot better! first I was a bit eceptive, I did not know how much it would improve the performance of my GE portable AC… It was very easy to convert my GE Portable AC from a single hose to a dual hose with my Conversion Kit! It prevents a lot of the waste heat from leakin g back into the room from the exhaust hose. I’m very satisfied that my AC is better now, it’s more cooler than before! Definitely I recommend this conversion kit for best results in your GR portable AC

GE took down my other review for speaking truth about their business practices. It’s impossible to obtain this accessory, so if you haven’t bought a matching AC unit, do yourself a favor and go with something else. I’ll be leaving my real review on every other site I can find the matching AC unit.
