I have no problems with this cooktop so far. I do however have the same complaint I see over and over, it’s hard to clean especially grease splatters. Streaks hard hard to remove, black shows everything. My old element stainless steel was a lot easier to clean but the drip pans were a pain. Appearance wise this unit wins hands down

Love the look as it fits well with my kitchen design.Upgrade model to the previous cook top that i had. The other model was a GE as well and lasted for 14 years with no issues. The olny reason for replacing was something fell on the cook top and shattered the glass.

This is the third GE radiant cooktop we have owned. The first two were great! This does not come close to our previous cooktops. The burners get too hot and stay hot way too long, even with copper core pots. One can boil water at number 2! Impossible to simmer on the larger burners. The GE repair man told us to learn to cook with new technology! I have cooked on these radiant cooktops for 30+ years. After 2 repair visits and 4 calls to customer service, they can have it back and it is only months old.
