The stovetop looks and works great. Heats fast and hot! The fan is quiet and extracts well. My only feedback is that to finish is finicky. It shows fingerprints and marks easily. I wonder how it will wear over time.

Replaced an old JennAir cooktop & love it so far

We replaced our old JennAir electrical downdraft cooktop, which must be >30 years old, with this new one almost 10 days ago, and love it so far. Comparing to our old one, the exhaust fan is much quiet and powerful. The cooking elements heat up quickly and stay hot. The ceramic surface does need some tender care, after all the entire surface of the bottom of the pot has full contact on it when cooking, and heat creates residues from the pot. These light color resides on a black surface cooktop make it more apparent. Some of these residues can't be wiped off easily with just soap and water, but would need solution like Affresh which is recommended by the manufacture. We make an effort to take care of the surface daily, and so far so good. Our unit was assembled in the US, just like our last JennAir, and is one reason we chose it.

La première fois que nous l'avons utilisée, un chaudron a débordé et il a été difficile à remettre à neuf. Nous avons dû utiliser une crème spéciale et un grattoir.
