Well even today, after contacting them about twenty times, the network connection doesn’t do ANYTHING! Oh yeah, it is supposed to connect to the timer. You know, the one that you can’t hear if you DON’T have it hooked up to some type of amplification device! They called back every day until they pushed it up to LEVEL 3, and then stopped calling! It still doesn’t work. Guess it will stay defective. Well I won’t try to get it repaired, I’ll just use my Amazon Alexa as a timer. It is cheaper, louder and you don’t have to play with an underglass print to get it set, you just have to speak! Well it is sad for them since they are loosing a customer for ALL the products, including a S20 Ultra that is sitting here not working.
Better temperature control then gas cooktop!

my cook top stopped worked after less than 2 years. after 6 weeks and 3 repair attempts it was deemed un-repairable. samsung customer service has been extremely difficult to work with.
Works Great

I have been using the 36" cookstop for about a year now and overall very happy with it. The performance beats the old electric coil cooktop that it replaced. Although, the performance does varies with different induction approved pots and pans. Like other reviewers, I found using my finger works better than the magnetic knob to adjust the "heat". Cooktop touch controls are sensitive to water as others have pointed out. But unlike other reviewers, I don't have an issue with boiling over. My source of agony is with cleaning up splatters while it is cooking. It doesn't like damp cloths being wiped over the controls. IMO its a bit sensitive. But I guess I'll just have to get over my OCD. LOL Connectivity features are not worth bragging about. It doesn't control anything, just monitors off/on. Installation instructions were very good, One thing I do wish Samsung would do is to more clearly state (emphasize) the required electrical power requirements. My old electric cooktop was wired for 30 amps. The 36" requires minimum 45 amps. It isn't as easy as just changing circuit breakers, you will highly likely need to upgrade the electrical wires too. This all adds to the overall cost.
Best cooktop ever!

absolutely love my induction cooktop, heats up much faster than gas. easy to use controls, either use my finger or even the magnetic knob it comes with.
