I upgrade from an electric cooktop to an induction cooktop. The new top fit perfectly. It was just a simple matter of connecting the wires. My only regret is I did not do this sooner. The cooktop is amazing. I got it for its safety and efficiency, but now I realize its cooking ability is far superior to electric. Great product

I am a fanatic about cleaning. No pets no shoe wearing home. I keep the stove top covered with a matt. We have owned the stove top for less than 30 days. The metal bar with the frigidaire logo had a blemish when we unboxed it but we decided to just move along with the install. Today while wiping the stove down, I noticed a way more pronounced scratch. It almost looks like it's cracked. Frigidaire said I can order the part in a few weeks. It's a 100.00 part. My concern is that the stove is less than 30 days old and we are beyond careful. We do appreciate the speed of cooking on the stove top and you will too. It does take some adjusting to bc it's so quick. The food doesn't seem to stick as much to the top either.

Fast heating and cool down, easy to clean, heats evenly, Does not heat the kitchen like our old gas cooktop. Boils water in one minute or less. Glad we made the change.
