Bought this in July and generally love it. It scratches VERY easily however so I’m disappointed it will not continue to look good. The downdraft seems to work well and is easy to clean.

Had this cooktop installed about a month ago. We're very pleased with it. Cleanup is easy with a Cerambryte kit and microfiber cloth. Stainless steel knobs seem very solid. We can really fine-tune the heat of the burners for cooking success every time. Downdraft fan is quiet and powerful. My only quibble is that the cooktop is not very well sealed to the counter, meaning food is likely to get trapped in the narrow space there.

We bought this stove to replace an older JennAir that came with the house. Both have been my first experience with downdraft cooktops, which I do not prefer at all, but as it was explained, it would've been extremely costly to reroute ventilation. With that said the KitchenAid is much better than the older stove. It is beautiful. And based on other reviews I have been gentle and careful not to sliding things across the stove to keep from scratching. No problems so far. I clean after every use with a cooktop spray and microfiber cloth. It heats quickly and evenly. All in all this stove was a good choice for us.
