Recently bought this cooktop to replace a circa 10yr old 36in Kitchenaid unit. Be aware that although the same size (36in) and manufacturer it might not fit without expensive countertop alterations. It required about 1/4in opening increase to fit and therefore does beg the question why? Otherwise an excellent product and would have scored higher.

We purchased this cooktop because we like the Kitchenaid name and product line.We thought it would give us more cooking space.We have had it about 3 weeks and it is beautiful to use, especially the center burner! I also like the fact that the knobs light up when turned on! We use gas to cook and its nice to see when the burners are on even when the fire is not. I only wish the knobs had more protection from the heat. I would recommend this cooktop!

Have not used a lot yet but aesthetically so nice! Paired it with black stainless other appliances and it fits in nicely! Lights quickly and features are great!
