I agree with the prior review. I expect better from Kitchen Aid. This model is a disappointment supplied by the builder. We used it three years in our former home and unfortunately we bought another new home that also came with the same model. It takes forever to boil water and after 2 years the gas burner control knob was loosening. Frankly our high end Kitchen built in stove was also a dissapointment. Kitchenaid isn't the quality it used to be.

Great looking cooktop. Had this cooktop for a month. You cannot simmer food such as rice or it will burn. When using the center burner on low simmer the flame frequently goes out which is dangerous and the design of the metal caps do not fit precisely on the burner. Would have purchased a different model or brand if I were aware of these issues. Waste of money.
