This replaced a 34 year old GE hood that has served us well. The new hood is quieter, nicer looking, and has beautiful lighting that the old hood lacked.

We picked this hood to match our new GE Profile range. The first unit was defective. The second replacement unit has been nice enough. The fan is relatively quiet and two level lights are a nice feature. I love how once you bluetooth pair it with the range, the lights automatically turn on when you turn on the stove top. But the build quality is a little wanting and the appearance a little too utilitarian.

I purchased this range hood to go with 3 other appliances I got from GE. 4 different items were shipped and each of them were significantly damaged. It didn’t appear it had to do with shipping and was in areas that seemed to be related to manufacturing. Always in the same areas at a seam. I finally just gave up and kept the 4th one which luckily had damage in an area that isn’t seen as much due to the way my kitchen is set up. Really disappointed with how GE products have been made lately.
