I bought and installed this hood today. It looks great, and the fan is very quiet, but it doesn't work! There is no suction. I'm so so disappointed. I wish I had read these reviews before I bought it.

I bought this a week ago and when it was installed and I got home to hear the fan I said is the fan on?? Yes it was, both speeds sound the same so I am thinking either something is wrong with the fan( which I think there is) or this is a terrible product. I have a tech person coming to check it out, but from the reviews its seems like the same problem. Also from afar you can see the vent screen which I don't like but I guess I can live with it. The 60watt bulb makes it very bright maybe a bit too bright. Not sure I am going to be happy with this new hood. Hoping to upgrade if they let me but from the other reviews its seems the same THE FAN. I had a prior Whirlpool hood wish I didn't throw it out. Let you now what happens in a few weeks when they come to look at the hood.
