We purchased this to replace an older model that would no longer work. We wanted a similar GE 700 watt microwave and this fit the bill. The only thing we are disappointed about is that there is no pull handle to open the door. This one has a push button. Maybe in time we will learn to love it.

The positives: Very quiet. The negatives: push tabs are too small, are difficult to push, and not always responsive. They are arranged in awkward array. The unit locks up when a wrong sequence of buttons is pushed, It does no say locked but all push tabs are nonresponsive. Unlocking with the 3 second hold does not work consistently. It doesn't vent well.

Love the brand GE hope that this one will last as long as my other one did I used it for 27 years and it was a GE to. I bought an Hamilton Beach microwave in December 2019 and it only lasted a year and 4 months so I went for the GE again.
