Besides being attractive, the capacity and power of the microwave are both great. The inside dimensions and diameter of the platter allows us to heat multiple small food containers at the same time instead of letting one get cold as the next one is heating. So even though advertised as ‘family sized’ it is really handy for our family of two also. Well worth the small price difference overvsmaller units.

It looks like all stainless from the front. If it were stainless all over ,that would be great, but unfortunately not in this price range. Controls are intuitive and easy to use. It microwaves fine. The defrost works great. Easy to clean. I would recommend buying a 4-year warranty on this item. The door latches tend to malfunction after 1-2 years of use by a large family. If you are handy, you can buy the part. for $45, and repair, otherwise just get a warranty. So purchase from Best Buy and purchase warranty from them is recommended. (Not recommended for drying pets.)

This is the best microwave. The heat settings are very strong and you don’t need to put the food in for very long.
