Totally agree with user wahooslim's review below. They point you to the wrong microwave filter in the user guide, and if you search on Lowe's website with that code, you will get a refrigerator filter, so it is a total disaster and couldn't they make it easier to change the filter? The correct filter for model FGMV17WNVF is FRPAMRAF, and NOT the one listed on the guide, i.e. OTRFILTER1 which by the way isn't even found on frigidaire website. Utterly bogus!!

Like magic, our filter light came on exactly six months from installation. Imagine that! So, as everyone has written previously the owner's manual is a confusing mess when it comes to filter replacement. You've got the 53404464577 and the infamous OTRFILTER1 (or is it really OTRFILTER). Of course, when you call about the FGMV17WNVFA model, you get an entirely different number for the filter FRPAMRAF. The ol' shell game! I can't get a straight answer from them. Can somebody use the OTRFILTER as a replacement rather than the overly marked up FRPAMRAF? If not, why not? Why wasn't the FRPAMRAF included in the owner's manual that came with the microwave? When I brought up the fact that the "filter" light came on almost six months to the day of installation, the rep just chuckled and offered ZERO explanation other than "we just sell parts". Wow, you guys are making the Postal Service seem like a well-oiled machine.
