We were disappointed when our GE Profile broke after three years. We purchase this Amana because of its sleek appearance and lack of badging since our other appliances are older. It has everything we need and works well.

Left a review of this microwave. I bought it late July 2017 and began having door and light issues and died completely Mid Feb. A few months out of warranty. I left a review here and got a response from Amana asking for some more information. I sent the information multiple times over the last 2 weeks and have not heard back from anyone. Seeing as how so many people are having the exact same problem, there should have been a recall or, at least, a warranty extension on this KNOWN problem. I hope everyone begins filing claims with their State and Federal Consumer Protection Agencies. Unless Amana actually plans on responding and fixing all these known faulty microwaves.

Is this even worth it. I also have just emailed them. Because just before my microwave blew,’my dishwasher pump motor went out. All just after a year old!!!! so mad.
