The microwave unit is quite loud making grinding like noise each time we use it. Technicians are baffled at the cause but have order a number of parts to try and resolve. Disappointing for a Bosch product.

I have all Bosch appliances in my home that were purchased 5 years ago for new construction and have been used for 3-1/2 years. After 1 year of use, my microwave, HMV5053U/01, had a couple of the lines disappear on the clock display. This make the clock illegible which is disappointing. The cost to fix the clock is estimated at $300. I chose to live with a faulty clock. Now the microwave randomly makes a quick loud noise that sounds if someone is being electrocuted. The microwave continues to work correctly, but this is concerning. Also this week, my refrigerator, B26FT80SN5/03, has twice poured water out of the ice/water dispenser without anyone near it. I saw it happen the second time and ran water for about 45 seconds, which covered my floor. I have loved Bosch dishwashers for many years and wrongly assumed their other appliances would be as durable and quiet. I was wrong. I am replacing the microwave with a different brand and will do the same with the other appliances as needed. To be fair, I have had no issues with my range, HGI8054UC/06. It has performed well. I still am a fan of their dishwashers also.

So far I have no complaints. This is my first purchase of Bosch appliance. I love where the light shines on stove and fan is strong enough to pull exhaust away from stove. Very easy to use.
