Many problems from the date of delivery (10/7/21). Door light did not go on when you open the door, and the microwave did not stop when you opened the door, it kept running and counting down the time set. Also when the surface light is on, the inside bottom of the microwave gets hot... Microwave however does heat the food well. Needs new door switch and control board and it's not even a month old !!

This was installed on Oct.7, 2021 and after the installer left, I tried the microwave and noticed the light when you opened the door was delayed, and when closing the door, you would see a flash of light. Within a few days, the light did not come on at all !! Made an appointment for a technician to come and check it out. I could not get an appointment for about 3 weeks. During that time I was using the microwave. I put food in to cook and forgot to put another item in there so I opened the door. To my surprise, the microwave continued to run and the clock was counting down !!!!! NOT GOOD ! Once the technician arrived, I had a list of things to tell him !!! To make a long story short, I needed a CONTROL BOARD, and a Door Switch !!!!! THE MACHINE IS NOT EVEN A MONTH OLD !!! Now I'm told the parts are on back order and the projected ship date is DEC. 26 !!!!! The tech was here on Nov 4th !!! This is completely unacceptable ! To top it off, when I ordered this, the picture of this machine on the salesman's computer showed a green display which is what I was looking for, to my dismay, after installation when they plugged it in......a WHITE DISPLAY !! I was not happy, plus when the surface light is on, the floor of the microwave gets hot !! Beside the fact I think this particular machine is a LEMON, and it should be replaced, all these other disappointments just added to my frustration !! Wish my old Whirlpool that lasted 25 years didn't die !!!!! One thing is does well is heat the food !!

I bought a brand new home that came with this microwave but after a week while cleaning it . I noticed a broken part on it , not sure if it came that way or it happened while it was being installed. Also it makes noise while rotating.
