Overall good microwave - however seems to be louder than the previous GE microwave it replaced Appears not to have as much insulation - would prefer a quieter unit

For a 1000W microwave it really works well. The new technology where an internal antenna focuses the microwave beam to the middle of the turntable makes it heat like a much larger wattage microwave. One slight negative is when you mute the sound it beeps twice - that doesn't make any sense?? The mute button shouldn't make any sound.
