Purchased this microwave to replace the 20-year old former GE model that came with the house. It is noisy! When you close the door, it clangs like cheap tin, and when it is in operation you can hear the motor from across the room. Seems to have no sound insullation at all, and sounds "tinny", and cheap.

The new one is the current model for replacement. Too bad the quality is gone, the fan is weaker, and no one new the handle design changed even the salesperson

First time it was replaced under warranty. Second time the microwave isn't under warranty any longer but the part is. Except they charge for the service call ($109) and labor (won't quote me a price) and they won't send me the part to install myself. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!
