We installed this unit in June 2017 and within a year the motherboard had to be replaced. This oven is poorly designed. When cooking foods with a high moisture content (poultry, braised meats, pizza, pretty much anything) the steam shorts out the control panel when the oven door is opened. We can't even use the convection feature or the whole thing shuts off. Apparently these are known issues, well documented all over the internet but Kitchenaid has done nothing to recall or rectify. And since we purchased an extended service plan kitchenaid has wiped its hands of the problem, taking no responsibility. We are now waiting for our second service call to replace the motherboard again for the exact same problem. I will never buy another kitchenaid save I'm telling everyone my story.

I really like my new double oven and I am learning all the bells and whistles. The only down side I have found this far is the lowest heat setting is 175, for letting my dough rise I usually only go to 150.
