this gas slide-in range provides a large cooking capacity that easily handles multiple dishes at once.
Downdraft
Integrates the ventilation system right into the range so that a separate hood is not needed. Smoke and odors can be removed and taken outside or air can be filtered and recirculated inside. A duct free kit can be purchased separately.
EasyConvect™ Conversion
Takes the guesswork out of convection cooking by converting conventional settings for recipes to convection settings for you.
Even-Heat™ True Convection
Features a unique bow-tie design with heating element and fan that circulates hot air throughout the entire oven, providing optimal temperatures combined with airflow for crisp, flaky baked goods, juicy, well-browned roasts and caramelized vegetables.
Steam Rack
Offers the ability to provide additional moisture to the inside of the oven, enhancing cooking results.

We replaced a Jennaire down draft electric range a couple of months ago and , after getting used to gas rather than electric, we Like it with one exception. That being both large burners in front rather than one in front and one in back. We find this to be a poor arrangement. This is the first range we have seen with both large burners in front and can’t understand why it’s that way!
Excellent product but.....

I prefer a gas oven. We had no choice because we needed a downdraft, slide in oven for our small kitchen. The gas stove is wonderful and spacious, but the oven heats up a bit slowly and I will need to adjust to cooking with it. Also, the fan that cools it down, post-cooking is a bit loud. Again, this product is clearly well made, but I had preferences that couldn’t be fulfilled because of our set up. Kitchen Aid is a go to brand.
Love this oven

The duel fuel is such a great option. Excellent gas cooktop with electric convection. Best of both worlds. The only issue was venting it out of the house. Since it is downdraft, you may need to run a new vent system.
Best Range Ever

We purchased this to place in an Island in our kitchen, it is top quality! Everything works great and the gas range heats food quickly. The oven cooks my food evenly. The roll out rack in the oven is so nice to pull out when cooking large or heavy dishes.I haven't used the convection yet, but I'm sure it will be great! We're very happy with our choice of this KitchenAid oven!
Love / hate the down draft

I really like my new range, however, there is one small issue that I don't like. Whenever I use the downdraft it pulls the flame towards that direction so one side of the pan I am cooking with gets hotter than the other side. Therefore, I have to constantly move the food around for even cooking.
