Similar to our previous Maytag CRE9900 that was 21 years old and the top never scratched, oven control went bad and couldn't find part. We have new Maytag only two weeks so early to tell the long term quality but works good.

Like the burner in burner feature. Don't like the bottom drawer, very cheaply built. The sound on the timer could be louder, if you aren't in the same room--is hard to hear.

Am very happy with stove. Only negative, it is slow to heat up (burners) unless you put it on high. Oven is very slow to preheat.

Bought this as part of my new appliances in May So far so good Not so sure about the pre bake option seems to take longer to heat up but I don't bake to much so that's still to be decided when I do make cookies
