pros: great range with a boatload of features. cons: the ceramic cooktop is very sensitive to cookware bottoms. when you order this range, also order weiman's glass cook top cleaner and polish kit....you'll need it. had a kitchen aid electric range for 22 + years and the cook top was bullet proof. not so with this one. also, you will need a samsung hub for the wi-fi capability. conclusion: great range but the cooktop needs a serious engineering redesign.

“i received compensation for this review, but the review is my own” we love our new samsung range. it looks modern and is easy to keep clean. the wireless/smart features are a welcome addition and, overall, the functionality is outstanding. the air fryer is particularly handy, we also appreciate the express boiling capability, the bread mode, and the steam cleaning function. the illuminated knobs look great and they are an excellent safety feature, since they allow the user to check, with just a glance, the status of the cooking top.

this stove is beautiful and has many great features, but the major drawback is that it turns itself on every time you bump or touch it. it has a locking feature but it takes several steps to do it. thus, i am very didappointed and we will probably teturn it. i would not recommend for households with kids, elderly, large dogs, or cats in case they jump up on it.

i really enjoy my new range! it bakes evenly, it heats quickly, and the air fry feature is wonderful! i did have technical difficulties connecting the range to smartthings and, turns out, the initial setup process is not compatible with iphones. after 4 different phone calls i finally got someone who explained the issue. i had to borrow a friend's android-based phone to connect to my smartthings hub, which was a very large pain, but worth it in the end. highly recommend samsung fix this software issue since a lot of folks use iphones. all in all, i highly recommend this range but do hope samsun will update the software to make setup easier for other iphone users.
