Coming from a glass cooktop, anything is an upgrade. But, this thing is so powerful and amazing, I am in love. Kitchen Aid for us for life after this. Never had such an amazing stove in my life. Boils water in like 2 mins, so fast that we actually have to change our ways because we're not used to it.

We moved into a new home and had all Kitchen Aid appliances installed. I love my range! It heats up fast and the oven temps seem to be accurate. The only thing I now worry about is that the burner knobs become hot to the touch when the oven has been on over an hour. I found this out the hard way! You should have a warning about them somewhere in your literature. Ok, so I got burned, but if a child is near the stove and touches the knobs, they will be burned too!! Not a good thing. There should be a "fix" for this that may include a silicone grip that doesn't heat up and can withstand high temps.

I’m still getting used to my new stove but so far so good. No problems what so ever! It’s very similar to my old stove but with convection and 5th burner both of which I love.
