I love this stove. Although it looks expensive, it's actually pretty reasonably priced. It cooks evenly. Love it!!!

This is a beautiful range, works great. Only complaint is that it the burners stain easily, even with water, even if it is cleaned right away.

Conversion to Propane is Overly Difficult

It's a nice stove. Looks nice and I think I'll enjoy it once I get it working. But the conversion to Propane should not be so difficult. I had to pay someone to do the LP conversion, it took 2 hours and they missed a step, and now I'm trying to get them to come back. If you need it to work for Propane, just expect and accept from the beginning that you need to hire someone who knows how to do it. It takes a good amount of time to change out all the orifices (little fixtures, difficult to access) and make a change to the regulator inside the oven (don't miss this step!). I was not expecting all that - it's not as easy as it should be, and GE will not really help or support you other than to tell you to hire & work with a professional installer. If you know all that going into it, maybe it will be less frustrating for you. There is a short 2-page manual provided if you want to review the steps for converting to LP (propane).
