I'vd had this range about a month now. It is very pretty with the Black Stainless and is fingerprint resistant. The works well and is baking at the correct temps; my old range was way off. It is a little difficult to clean the top since the grates interconnect, but they are removable. The initial oven burn off smoke did happen, but I was warned by the installer this would happen. He stayed cleaning up while this burn off was happening. After the initial burn off; there was no more smoke when the oven was used.

Bought this unit about 2 months ago and haven’t been happier! This unit is very powerful and we switched from electric to gas and what a world of difference. The fit and finish on the product is perfect! Would highly recommend.

The oven is beautiful but that's it. First: The finish on the control panel is delicate and scratches easily. Already damaged and had less than two months. Second: Takes forever for the oven to finishing pre-heating Third: I have only used the oven twice and just to bake cookies and now it has residue/streaks between the glass oven door panels. Fourth: Just noticed there is a blue bubble between the glass oven door panels. I am contacting Kitchenaid as this definitely a defect and possibly safety issue so will not be using the oven now. Fifth: The design on the panel makes it easy to turn on when just wiping the panel off. Six: The storage drawer is so small and can't hold anything with height, only cookie sheets. Cheaply made also. Seven: The burner is already stained an unable to clean. It seems to be made of a cheap or substandard material. This range was purchased as part of remodel. I also purchased a kitchenaid microwave, dishwasher and refrigerator. I am waiting for the refrigerator to be delivered. I just hope the other appliances do not become a disappointment also.

Been wanting to replace our electric range with gas for some time now. Glad we made this purchase about a month ago. Great temp control on range and oven. Still learning. No complaints but need to mention that when oven is running, range control dials get hot to touch as does a nearby cabinet drawer pull.
