This Bosch 800 series range replaces a Bosch installed sixteen years ago. We decided to stick with quality after finding so many light-weight ranges. A big plus for the Bosch is the full-width grates. We don't need an integral griddle and finding a stove top without one was difficult. We are especially loving the grates in three sections which makes them easier to remove when cleaning the stove top. The oven seems to preheat faster than the range it has replaced. The warming drawer is nice, but not a feature we needed. I would have preferred storage and continue to use it as such for our broiler pan. It is taking some "getting used to" the drawer. An errant toe bump will open it unintentionally. I'm loving the overhang, or wings at the counter level. Our last range did not have them and trying to keep crumbs and mess out of the gap between the side of the stove top and the counters was a cleaning nightmare. We use our range, cooking at home probably 95% to 97% of the time. Most of our meals are "from scratch" versus heating prepared food. Having a range of burner sizes, a conventional and convection oven and a product that stands up to daily cooking and cleaning is paramount.

Bought this as part of a kitchen remodel. Looks and works great! Love the warming drawer and that there are 3 racks. Cooks food evenly

I've had this oven for 2 years and have already had to replace the heating element in the oven twice. Now the entire front panel needs to be replaced, because the TCM chip that controls things has broken. The part is out of stock for at least 6 weeks and nobody can tell me when I will be able to get it. Meanwhile the oven will not function without this part. I bought bosch because I was tired of wasting money on cheap appliances. In this case I wasted alot of money on an expensive piece of junk.

This 800 Series Range is the BEST range I hae ever had and I have been cooking for over 50 years! It definitely is a professional range. Each eye can be adjusted to any temp you need. The heat is such an even heat and cooks so uniformally, that I have not burned anything on my pots since I have been cooking on it! The oven also cooks very evenly. I have now had the oven for 9 mouths. My only complaint, ( it is not bad enough to take away from all the good!) is the gas oven does not brown as evenly as my electric oven did. I would definately recommend this unit to anyone who loves to cook!!!

The slide-in is exactly what I was looking for when we started to design our kitchen. It's seamless with the counter and the cabinets, and the black finish just makes it look so polished. We're very happy with it!
