My mom has had this griddle for over 2 years now, and she absolutely loves it. She was a chef for well over 25 years and said it has one of the best and well made surfaces she has used, outside of work. She always advices to clean it with warm water and a gentle scrubbing. She also tends to add a bit of water to the surface without spilling, brings it close to boiling without letting the water evaporate, then washes it. This has helped keep the quality of the griddle well.

The griddle surface is rough and sticky. Tried to cook pancakes on flat side and they stuck to griddle. Tried to cook bacin on rigid side and bacon stuck. The surface seems rough rather than smooth. Not sure if there is a non sticky version

We just bought this gas grill and used the griddle the first time for burgers. We don't know how to clean it. it's too big for the sinks and other websites say not to put it in the dishwasher. I did spray it with cooking spray first, though it would help make cleaning easier.

We just bought our new stove. I love all the features, but had to track down what kind of a surface I am cooking with on this griddle. It heated up fast and cleaned bacon up fast. This web site says it's aluminum but I'd like to know what kind of non-stick coating it has? Is it going to scrape off with stainless steel utinsils? Please be more specific in your description of accessories. I am very picky about the surfaces I cook my families food on. I'm loving my new gas range and air frier though!
