I got this just in time for holiday cooking season and am enjoying it very much. I've had food processors before (including the elite brands), and this is the first one that is truly a pleasure to use. Most processors, what you gain in food processing time is offset by time lost in handling the machine & parts & subsequent cleaning. Not a true convenience, & a bit of a chore. The GE, though, is so much easier to set up, operate, & clean. It *is* a true convenience. For once I find myself gravitating to the machine to use it, whereas the others I had to think whether it was worth the bother. It does the usual jobs very well, & the emulsifier is just dandy for making whipped cream. I like the mini bowl a lot -- useful for small amounts. The processor's light weight is a bonus -- easy to move to the cooktop or baking area for extra convenience, or to let someone help elsewhere in the kitchen. It's a good thing I kept the recipe booklet from the fancy French food processor. Now that I have a food processor that I actually like to use, I'm going to try out those recipes!

Have enjoyed using the food processor, but had to go to uTube to figure out how to use it. The owner manual is very minimal. Would have liked some sample recipes to try as well. Seems well made and hope to learn more as I use it.
