We purchased this maytag dryer about a month ago. It is very well made, efficient, quiet. I recommend not stacking it, the angle of the controls make it hard to see the selections on top unless you are tall. I'm 5'6 and can't see the top settings on my stacked dryer. Also, wish it had a light when you open the door.

I purchased the dryer 4 months ago and overall am pleased except for one thing- There is a loud drumming sound when the dryer starts and it comes and goes throughout the cycles . I called the service number and had a “certified Maytag service “ come to the house to service the dryer. It is not balanced according to the service person. . The noise is still there - and not sure if it can be fixed. Just be aware of the noise.
