There is no dispenser for detergent or softener, so you have to add it directly to the load. The detergent doesn't get the chance to properly dissolve, and then settles on the clothes because there really isn't much water being used (even when using the deep fill setting. Once the machine's turned on, it locks the door. Without clothes, the tub will not fill up with water. So there's just no good way to dissolve the detergent in the water and avoid getting clumps on clothing. I find that really very annoying, and it makes it appear like the clothes really aren't getting cleaned.

Washer does a fine job, but I would have thought a washer with no huge agitator would be quiet. That is not the case, its actually quite noisy, to the point I went online and found a site where they had actual washer sounds..and low and behold thats just how it sounds. Thats my only issue so far with this washer.

I love the options to keep energy and water use low. Great capacity. Bulky items can get imbalanced without the agitator. Otherwise a great washer.
