This new Speed Queen washer is taking the place of a Maytag washer that was a wedding present from my parents back in 1993. For anyone that's counting, that's 30 years of service! I'd almost given up hope in finding any new machine that would be built half as well as my old one, but then I came across the legion of praise for Speed Queen products on line, as well as many service techs giving the thumbs up for the brand in videos on You Tube. That did it for me, and I pulled the trigger on my new TC5. The new machine appears to be every bit as well built as my outgoing Maytag (perhaps even a bit better), but time will tell on that. In any case, I love the simple design and operation of this new unit, and it actually does a great job washing my clothes! I've got a good feeling about this purchase, and I'm looking forward to another 30 year machine!!

Seems to be a very solid machine, completes a wash load quickly. I took off one point for the noise, this machine is not quite. But id does a great job of cleaning our cloths.

Best machine I’ve ever owned. Doesn’t vibrate the house when in spin cycle. Gets the job done fast. Very sturdy machine. Only been a month but very confident that it’s gonna last longer than any I’ve e ever owned. Gets clothes clean.

Already had to have service it was warrantied but still disappointing. Took 2 weeks to get service out. Paid bigoney for this washer with pretty high expectations.
