This is by far the best washer on the market. It’s well built, with simple mechanical controls (like the old style), easy to use, and cleans like a pro at a breakneck speed. It’s never out of balance - with a load of heavy denim, bath towels, or a king sized cotton coverlet and shams. I am in love with this washer - and will never own another brand! Buy one today!

We decided to step up to Speed Queen, we heard they were the best, but from the moment we started it the noise was very loud. When the cycle starts it’s hard to converse nearby, the TV (downstairs!) has to have the volume turned up. If one is in the powder room directly below the laundry and the rinse cycle kicks on from above, the sound is almost jarring. No, not the spin cycle, just the rinse cycle. We alerted our dealer immediately, their guy came out - he seem pre-disposed to dismiss our concerns. He insisted that, since the unit was a little larger and more powerful than our previous one, we just needed to get used to this. The photo I’ll upload here is a screenshot shot of Speed Queen’s website addressing how quite their washers are. Ha! Our clothes are clean, it seems to wash very well, but Wow! it’s loud!

With three teenage boys, we go through lots of laundry! Finally ditched our old plastic unit after constant failure of plastic components (shocking...) and spent the extra money of Speedqueens. It is quick, easy to use, and most importantly, get's the clothes clean quickly.
