This washer has a great capacity size and will wash a king size comforter no problem. The energy efficient setting is ok for lightly dirty clothes but it has plenty of settings to get your clothes clean and done efficiently. My complaint is the lid lock and if I had it to do over would have went back one model without it. So far very happy with its performance on clothes and I get some of mine very dirty.
