When my refrigerator was dying, my sister-in-law sang the praises of the freezer on the bottom refrigerators. I bought one and am also singing its praises. Things are easier to see and I won't have any "surprises" at finding really old stuff like I did with my old freezer. Having the items in the refrigerator on top is so handy in that I can see all of the shelves and don't have to stand on my head to see the bottom shelf.

We received our new refrigerator last week. It would be great if there wasn't an annoying, loud, sudden whining noise ( an additional motor kicking in?) that occurs every 14 minutes, for 4 seconds at a time. Is there any way to fix this? We're thinking of returning the refrigerator..

This is a great refrigerator. We love the bottom freezer and both sections are so well lit. The inside is spacious and the refrigerator door holds large containers
