I bought this about two months ago and I’m very happy with it. I love the space it has inside and the bottom drawer freezer. I recommend this product.

We bought one of these nearly twenty years ago, and were so pleased with it that we just replaced it, or so we thought. It looks pretty much the same, & works the same, but it's made of lighter-gauge, easily-dented steel, and the internal storage arrangements are not as well planned & made. Our original Amana is still working in the basement; we're thinking of bringing it back upstairs, and moving this one to storage. A big disappointment.

Worked great for 11 months, then ice built up behind freezer which blocked the required airflow to chill the refrigerator box. At least that is the description from the repair technician from the appliance sales firm (Seattle area, very large and well respected firm) who reported unit is "functioning as designed." Problem is, the design allows for temperature warming in refrigerator box, and unless I manually defrost the bottom freezer, I can expect this to be an ongoing problem of spoiled food and required overnight defrosts. The current temp is 43* with the cooling level set at max cooling (7). We are now past the one year warranty. Terribly disappointing and frustrating since i selected an Amana fridge as a replacement based on the excellent Amana we had from November 1990 to November 30, 2017.

Fridge was 'dead on arrival'. Motor running, no cold air. Took 4 days for replacement unit to arrive. Lost approx $200 in food wastage. No compensation. Not impressed.

I replaced my same model Amana for my new Amana, that alone must say something. like my new one as well although wish it came with ice shelf and trays i in freezer. Also there are now rubber seals on the two lower drawers as my last one had.
