ExtendFresh™ Temperature Management System
Separately monitors the temperatures in the refrigerator and freezer through a sensor located in each, to help ensure fresh fruit juices don't become frozen and prawns avoid freezer burn.
Produce Preserver
Absorbs ethylene gas emitted by many fruits and vegetables, causing them to over ripen. By removing ethylene, the produce preserver helps extend freshness.

This refrigerator is almost exactly what I was looking for. I would have liked a larger freezer but I opted for the ice maker which took up extra space. I did not want French doors and this was the best quality of the single door refrigerators. So glad I chose this.

I bought thi sand 4 other KitchenAid appliances about 5 weeks ago. We really don't like this frig. The construction is cheap for K.A. Worst of 5 appliances.

I've had this a few weeks and for the most part I like it. It holds temperature very well, and I like the adjustable refrigerator shelves. I already had to have one of the flimsy plastic crisper drawer sliders replaced because it snapped off as I was removing fruit from the drawer. The freezer drawer dividers take up too much space and can't be adjusted or removed easily. KitchenAid customer service was no help and told me it couldn't be done. Fortunately, the repair technician who repaired the crisper knew how to remove the dividers. It allows me to utilize otherwise dead space in the freezer.
