I tried three other upright freezers and they all failed. The chest freezer is the only way to go.

Once installed, we had it up, running, and loaded with food in minutes. The freezer is spacious, functional and I would say beautiful to look at.

This is our first chest freezer. We are using it in the garage and it stays very, very cold. It has plenty of space and came with 2 baskets that sit up top for organization. The only reason it has four stars instead of five is that we have only had it set up for about a month or so. We hope it lasts years, so this is too soon to tell if it will actually accomplish the goal we have for it.

This is perfect for our needs. It's outside in a covered breezeway, and the lock will keep our local bears from helping themselves. Good space inside, and excellent basket storage.
