The Produce preserver replacement filters absorb ethylene allowing the ripening process of many produce items to slow down. As a results, certain produce items will stay fresh longer that are kept in your crisper drawer. It extends freshness of produce up to 25%. This kit includes 2 replacement filters and 1 status indicator which will be put in the housing in your crisper drawer. The status indicator helps you remember to change the pouches. Replace pouches and status indicator every six months for optimal freshness. Two came with our new refrigerator. I noticed the difference in the freshness of vegetables & fruits. They do last longer. I'm online trying to order more but it says Out of Stock.

These packets came with my new refrigerator and I was not really into using them, I thought they were just another "thing to buy". But I have used them, and there is a marked difference in how long the items in my produce drawer last. Worth the low cost of refills.
