With a strong push the water filter came out and the new one inserted. No leaking water from the old one, that was a surprise. After a couple of sputters water started to flow much faster than it did with the old filter. Make let the water run for a while, throwing out a couple of glasses of water until the filter is saturated with water and the water comes out looking good. That only took a minute or two. Really liking the better taste and faster filling of the glass.

Fits my fridge and water tastes great. Cheaper to buy in bulk from Frigidaire than to buy individually from Amazon so thatâs a bonus.
