I contacted GE immediately after receiving my Opal ice maker because the left panel had a dent in it. I was told I’d receive a box and that they were shipping my replacement. I never got either. At this point, they just need to ship me a replacement ASAP and/or give me 25% off. As far as operation, the machine is VERY loud

My kids chipped in to get this for Christmas for my wife and me. Worked for about 3 weeks as advertised then the noise came (squeaking) . So loud you could hear it throughout entire house. Hate to tell my kids what their gift is doing.

Love the nugget ice for all drinks and the look of the unit is very slick. Little pricey but worth it. Definitely recommend the side tank.
