I bought this refrigerator in August, 2019. 3 weeks later the water dispenser broke - a common problem with refrigerators. Two repair companies, four visits, several replaced parts and still we have no water dispenser. Trying to work with the 3rd party repair companies is frustrating; KitchenAid Customer Service tries, but they are so bound by protocol that even the escalated Customer Success Team can't do anything. Just know that if you buy this model, you might also be buying an independent water dispenser :-)

We purchased all new KitchenAid appliances for our kitchen remodel. The refrigerator has only been used for 6 months when the refrigerator compartment stopped cooling. Under warranty, but needed a service technician to come out and fix it. Very disappointed to say the least. From the way I understand it, they are now using a two coil cooling system in the refrigerators and the technician said this is the first one that he has had to fix. Could this one just be a lemon? Time will tell.

This refrigerator seems exceptionally solid. Doors and drawer are heavy and close securely. The ice bin is exceptionally small although it is nice to have it not take up a lot of room. I found that the shelves are not as adjustable as I expected. I've managed to make it work however. Amovable divider in the bottom drawer would also have been helpful.

I bought this May 2019 and now today five months later it will not cool I’ve been trying to get it serviced and parts for it for almost for over a week and still don’t have a service time scheduled to repair it
