Lasted 3 years into a ten year manufactory warranty. LG cant locate a technician to fix and refuses to refund even though i provided a copy of the check for proof of purchase. LG says i have to show receipt.

With our new home build we had the opportunity to shop extensively all brands makes and models. Having had LGs in our last 2 homes we kept returning to LG. We especially like the Insta-view access door to keep from opening the whole refrigerator. Several years back we bought 2 LGs for our beach rental due to their durability and functionality in an extreme-use environment.

This fridge broke after only 3 years which is ridiculous for how expensive it was. We purchased the extended warranty but it still took THREE MONTHS to get a partial refund because LG couldnt find a qualified service technician to fix it.
