Great features less than stellar functionality

The refrigerator has great features such as door in a door to access frequently needed items such as milk. The two ice makers with craft and standard cubes is creative. The conversion drawer that can be either extra refrigerated or freezer space is also unique. The issue is that after only 6 months ice makers have already stopped working. Software and hardware have needed to be replaced. I was told they will continue to break. Getting service was also a hassle. I had to go through 3 hours of several phone calls before they would send someone out.

We purchased this brand because a competitor we had in a previous home had issues from the ice maker to fan being replaced. Thinking LG would impress us or at least last a few years that didnt happen. The manufacturer warranty will cover it right now however come on 7mthsbrokennot ok. Very disappointed. Make sure to purchase extended warranty

We have had the refrigerator for a year and two months. The craft ice started pounding to release the ice from dat one . It woke us up for many nights until we realized it was the refritg making the noise. The craft ice eventually has tried to release the ice by pounding it out and now has stopped working completely. It was two weeks past our one year warranty and LG wouldnt support repair. I wouldnt recommend it.

We loved the fridge and got it because of the craft ice maker. Sadly it stopped working and I have reached out several time with no response.
