french door with flex drawer. the ice maker does not work on a consistent basis. want a 5:00 cocktail? oh sorry- no ice! the shelves can be difficult to move and a nightmare to clean. some areas are not cleanable. the freezer drawer -to open the freezer. i’m afraid the handle will fall off i have to pull so hard. oh, and the flex zone is not a freezer drawer, so don’t buy this thinking you’ll have extra freezer space.

they will tell you that they have fixed the ice maker freezing up issue, but they have not. i had the icemaker off for vacation and when i returned it was frozen up again.

the ice maker freezes in place inside the ice maker compartment. this first happened within 6 months of operation. it has now happened several more times and now has to be taken out every week and the ice buildup has to be manually cleaned out. samsungs service number and staff are a joke and no help. the extended warranty company contract service repair company is too. this is a terrible product and no one should by this. samsung needs to engineer a solution and send out competent repair people to replace the unit. or send everyone a new refrigerator.

i purchased the 4 door french door with flex zone drawer from lowes in january, 2020 to replace my 20 year old refrigerator when the ice maker stopped working. i purchased the extended warranty. just recently my refrigerator stopped making ice because it was frozen and my freezer has ice crystals over half the compartment. i now realize that this has been an issue with many samsung refrigerators. what can you do to help me please?

i wanted the model with the wifi on the door, but the delivery guys would not remove the wifi door so it would fit between the island and the refrigerator space. we had to switch to this model. oh well, i still like it.
