This fridge is just under a year old, and suddenly it stopped making ice. I called KitchenAid support and they sent out a local repair tech who said the compressor is failing and needs to be replaced. Tech came back five days later and replaced the compressor and said it would take 24 hours to fully cool/freeze the fridge. We woke up the next morning to find the fridge and freezer warm, and all our food spoiled. Called the tech back and he came out to find the evaporator had now failed, and the part is back ordered. To make matters worse, the tech damaged our hardwood floors moving the fridge each time he worked on it. We paid $3,000 for this fridge and the KitchenAid name. Less than a year later we are plagued with problems, were without a fridge for a week, lost a couple hunderd dollars in spolied food, and now have damaged hardwood floors. I called KitchenAid to complain and the best they could do was offer me a $50 gift card. What a joke and a slap in the face. Thanks for nothing, KitchenAid!

Can not believe all of the features it has. Very useful ones too. The fastest ice maker I've ever seen. Plenty of LEDs even in the shelves. Love all of the compartments. Great design.

We love it! There is only one thing we don't like. In the freezer the top drawer is hard to open and close without the front flap falling off. I'm not sure what the purpose of it flapping is because it falls off even when you simply lift it without pulling the drawer out. I finally just took it out of the freezer instead of having to reattach it every time I get something out of that drawer. Everything else is amazing!
