This refrigerator has a little bit of technology for everyone interested in having your smart home alerts, and connected devices respond and display the current status of your range, dishwasher, microwave, oven and other devices such as your range hood and your water faucet. Time, weather, calendar, reminders and a host of other features can keep you busy learning and staying in touch with your smart home. Leave notes, recipes and upload your pictures to have the display run a video of your photo memories. Great refrigerator with many features to keep your family informed.

I had the first gen family hub and just upgraded to the 2021 model and it is so much better. Faster, more apps, and overall sleeker functionality. Love the Beverage center too!

Yes, this refrigerator is actually FUN! It is a beautiful addition to our kitchen. We were worried that we would not like the smaller counter depth, but it means that all the food is easily viewed and reached. Food in the back of a deeper refrigerator gets "lost." The beverage center is inside the refrigerator, and we didn't think we were going to like that when we first got it, but now we do. The ice maker has custom sizes and the beverage center is easily accessible. We never thought much about temperature control on our refrigerator until we got this one, and it's easy to do. We actually lowered the temperature in ours while on vacation in Europe from our phone...so cool. The fun? The beautiful control panel is more than functional. We keep the news and weather on the door. We use the white board the same as any, but because it's on the refrigerator door, everybody sees it! It has all the features and apps of any interactive device (Alexa, etc), but our grandchildren love to draw on the whiteboard. It's their favorite "toy" in our house. We have used the internal camera to see if we forgot something while we are at the grocery, but mostly just to have fun demonstrating how we can see in our fridge from anywhere. We don't need the wine storage; but the idea that you can make one of the lower compartments either a freezer or wine cooler would be great for those who would use it. Another cool feature we don't use is to sync the door with your Samsung TV. We already have a TV in the kitchen so don't use this. Before we had this, I would not think of being that interactive with a refrigerator. We have other smart appliances, but we have not "bonded" with them like we have with our refrigerator. We really enjoy all the smart features of this appliance. More functionally, it is really a well built piece of equipment. It is well engineered and solid. It takes a little push to close the doors, but if you miss, it will let you know shortly (and sends a notification text to your phone. It is very well organized and well lit. I don't think I've ever actually recommended a kitchen appliance to friends before, but I do this one all the time.

Modern looking Refrigerator liked the design, features and smart hub features. My Refrigerator was delivered with a dent. I had to call Samsung 6 times to get it replaced.
