Let’s start this review by saying how much I enjoy the Samsung 51-Bottle Wine Cooler (RW51TS338SR). I was so excited for this product because I work for a large wine conglomerate that owns many wineries. The perk of that job is I get a product allowance and free bottles of wine shipped to my house on a regular basis. With my bottles of wine stacking up in the closet, I finally decided to bite the bullet and purchase the Samsung Wine Cooler. I am more of a red wine drinker, but I was pleased to find that the fridge has two compartments to store red and white/rose/sparkling wines! I loaded up my wine fridge and was please about the quality of the product, typical of a Samsung product. And the configuration was easy; plug it in and adjust your dual temperature zones to your liking. I was able to fit 51 bottles (please don’t judge me) into the wine fridge with ease with the 5 shelves inside. You will need to place each wine bottle vertically and place the second bottle vertically upside so it’s a seamless fit with no gaps! I was surprised by the distance between the shelves because I was able to fit in large sparkling bottles of wine (ones with bigger bases) into the shelves and the shelves accommodated the larger sizes. One touch that I love is that you can adjust the LED lighting in the fridge to have it on constantly even when the door is closed or to have the light on only when opening the fridge. I currently have it placed in the kitchen, and it seems like it is part of the cabinetry. This product is sleek for its size, but it does house a lot of wine so be sure you plan on having a large but cozy space to fit this in. My one and only negative is that I wish Samsung would put the logo on the outside of the fridge – there is a logo inside but its impossible to see unless the fridge is open. No one would know that this is a Samsung product unless the fridge is open, and if they are looking inside. Other than that, this product is solid. I have received many compliments on the wine cooler and look forward to my shipments of wine and not having to worry about the storing temperature since it gets extremely hot where I live. Great product!

Our house has a built-in bar with a cabinet cut out for a wine cooler. We went for years with this empty space and finally got this Samsung cooler to complete the bar. I was a little worried about the measurements but it slid in perfectly, and wow it made such a difference in the looks of the bar. Instead of the ugly empty cabinet it now looks like a professional bar. The finish is great, it feels elegant to pull out the slide with bottles loaded onto it. I really like the idea that the door is reversible, so it really should fit into a lot of different spaces. The refrigerator holds a huge amount of wine bottles, we're now going to have to stock up on the good stuff.

i had high hopes for this product after owning and loving several other samsung appliances, but if you want to store any wine other than standard bordeaux-sized bottles, do not buy this product. i appreciate that the standard bordeaux bottle is how the capacity of all wine coolers and storage chillers are measured, but the shelves on this model are so absysmally designed that many non-bordeaux bottles (even common bottle shapes like pinot noir or champagne) will not even allow the shelf to slide in and out. and of course the shelves are not adjustable. the shelf directly below the temperature zone divider is the worst, and is functionally useless. so disappointed. don’t waste your money unless you want to store bordeaux and only bordeaux.

i did a lot of research before choosing this unit. many other brands have a higher price tag but only give you a one-year (1) warranty. the most expensive part on wine coolers that needs to be fixed or replaced is the compressor & sealed parts tied to it. i called the manufacture to verify what is covered. they were very helpful and confirmed, as noted in the manual, that i get a five (5) year warranty on the sealed compressor. in addition to other rock solid features this unit has, that warranty sealed the deal for me.

i ordered my wine cellar through a retail store but it was sent to me direct from samsung. i received it on april 14, 2021 and because ot was going to be used in my new house i left ot boxed up. upon unboxing on may 3, 2021 i discovered the unit was dmeted and the door will not close. i tried calling the samsung number and was transferred to no less than 6 different people until i just gave up. i jabe purchased over $6,000 worht of sams7ng alliances for my new home and i regrett ever doing it now. i will never buy samsung products again. worst cistomer service ever... buyer beware.
