I have been using my new refrigerator about a month now and I love the layout options of the shelves, drawers and door storage. The outside surface is smooth and shiny, my other fridges had the textured surface and it was hard to keep it looking nice especially with all the grandkids. But my absolute favorite feature is the light in the freezer, that makes it so much nicer when your looking for something.

We’ve had this fridge about a month now & still not use to the noise & how far it sticks out into the kitchen. Plastic strip under door creeks every time we open the door. Make loud cracking noise & we don’t have an ice maker. When it starts up the sound is like its winding up going faster & faster, then when it shuts off it sounds like it is slowing down & gradually comes to a stop & is then off. Very distracting at times.

bought a month ago like expect for the fact we have to find the perfect spot for ice cream. Everything else in the freezer stays frozen except ice cream very soft.

I like the spaciousness of the refrigerator and freezer, but have been very disappointed in its performance. The freezer has been frosting over around the top of the door. We called Whirlpool, and they have had a repairman come over. He said it would need a new seal and ordered it. Hopefully that will fix it. It has developed a horrible squeak every time I opened or closed the refrigerator door. Today my husband got down on the floor and discovered it was one of the front wheels. He pulled it out and tried to spray a little lubricant on it. It is not squeaking now. Where the protective plastic was removed from the door when it was delivered there are little shreds of plastic sticking out that cannot be removed with fingers. It makes more noise than my old Whirlpool that is out in the garage ever did. This is not the quality I expected from Whirlpool, but hopefully the issues can be resolved. This may just be a sign of the times, and perhaps no other brand is better.
