I got this as an energy efficient replacement to a 13-yo GE French-door refrigerator. I was concerned that my old refrigerator would konk out soon because the compressor would rattle loudly when it shut off. So far, I am enjoying my new appliance, especially the extra room in the wide freezer (compared to the French door model I had). There is also a HUGE amount of storage on the refrigerator door, which I really like. I'm still getting used to finding things in the new fridge compared to the old one, but so far I've had no problems with the new model.
