This is an excellent unit. Top thing is the noise. There is none. The unit is right next to TV and even on high, I do not have to increase volume. Will be buying second soon.

I like the Ac i think that 8100btu's does not cool off my livingroom as I thought it would. Also I don't understand the water running noise...

Great machine, cools fast and is very quiet. Used in a large bedroom. It replaced an old GE a/c which was 18 years old. It has lots of features and being able to turn the lights off is great instead of using a pieces of tape!
